Price and mechanical changes
MotoIndex records 2 Aerox generations Aerox V3 (V3) and Aerox V2 (2021 generation). On observed prices the current Aerox V3 sits about ₱13,000 above the Aerox V2, which is the number most people are really weighing when they search.
Mechanically the two are closer than the model names suggest — same 155 cc engine and the same claimed 15.4 hp. It is 1 kg lighter, and both run the same 110/80-14 front and 140/70-14 rear, so tires and fitment carry across.
New or used?
The current Aerox V3 starts around ₱125,900 on the sources MotoIndex checks. A three-year-old example in good condition models out near ₱88,600 on the same basis, so the first years carry most of the depreciation — which is the argument for buying the outgoing generation used rather than new. Against that, the older bike is closer to its service milestones and may need consumables sooner, so the saving is smaller than the sticker gap implies.
Running cost barely separates them. At 900 km a month and ₱65 a litre, the current Aerox V3 burns roughly ₱1,463 of fuel a month. A generation gap of this size does not change that materially, so choose on condition, paperwork and price rather than on expected fuel savings.
